Live Index & AI Inclusion Guidelines
These are the public rules governing GoGuides evaluation, Live Index eligibility, policy exclusions, paid inclusion, and related public machine-readable evidence. GoGuides independently crawls and observes the open web; observation and paid inclusion are not the same state.
1. AI Rank, grade, and score threshold
GoGuides can assign an AI Rank from 0–100 and a corresponding displayed grade from supported public measurements. AI Rank is a GoGuides-derived assessment, not a universal web score or guarantee of outside ranking, citation, recommendation, or traffic.
0–34
Below the minimum score threshold for paid Live Index submission.
35–100
Meets the score threshold for possible Live Index eligibility, subject to policy and other applicable requirements.
2. What AI Rank may consider
GoGuides scoring can use supported classes of publicly observable technical, content, quality, and policy signals. Public factor classes may include transport security, fetchability, response stability, page structure, content usefulness, clarity of purpose, mobile presentation, and spam or abuse indicators.
GoGuides does not publish private ranking weights, anti-abuse thresholds, or internal scoring recipes.
3. Restricted and permanently excluded categories
Some categories are not eligible for Live Index inclusion regardless of technical quality. Permanent exclusions include illegal content or activity under applicable law, child exploitation or abuse, extreme hate or violence promotion, phishing, malware, and comparable malicious behavior.
Other legal but high-risk categories may be excluded under GoGuides safety and policy rules. A domain can still be independently observed while remaining ineligible for Live Index inclusion.
4. Crawling, observation, and inclusion are separate
- GoGuides may crawl and observe public web content without a paid submission.
- Observed domains can accumulate provenance and supported machine-readable measurements without Live Index inclusion.
- Policy-blocked domains are not eligible for Live Index inclusion.
- AI Rank, grade, policy state, and public evidence can change as the web changes and new observations are stored.
- Paid inclusion does not freeze a score or create a policy exemption.
5. Improve the underlying site, not the score
If a site is declined or weak, focus on the public website itself: useful original content, clear identity and purpose, HTTPS, accessible navigation, stable responses, mobile usability, honest claims, sensible structure, and removal of spammy or deceptive patterns.
GoGuides does not guarantee that any specific change will produce a particular AI Rank or outside-platform outcome.
6. Language support
The Live Index currently supports primarily English-language websites. This is an inclusion-support policy, not a judgment about the quality or trustworthiness of non-English sites. Non-English domains may still be encountered and observed by broader GoGuides web-evidence systems.
7. Payment, measurement, and policy remain separate
- Payment is used only after a domain has met the applicable eligibility path for paid Live Index inclusion.
- Payment does not increase AI Rank, improve a grade, override policy, or purchase favorable treatment.
- Observed web state and provenance are based on GoGuides measurements, not customer assertions.
- Included domains remain subject to ongoing measurement and policy rules.
8. Machine-readable evidence and visual state
GoGuides publishes supported machine-readable surfaces for evaluation, Web State, change comparison, provenance, verification context, source-use decision context, and related public evidence. The deterministic favicon is a compact record-state visualization tied to supported resolved inputs; it is not a certificate or universal trust verdict.
