Source identity & provenance
Persistent public records help consumers distinguish what GoGuides observed from what a website claims about itself.
GoGuides does not control what an outside AI model says and cannot guarantee that a model will never hallucinate. What GoGuides can do is make important source evidence easier to inspect before a system reads, cites, compares, or relies on web content.
A page can be fetchable while still leaving unanswered questions about identity, provenance, freshness, ownership, historical drift, structured-data changes, machine-facing policy, source relationships, and whether a specific claim is actually addressed by the stored source.
When those questions remain invisible, a downstream system may overstate what its source evidence supports. GoGuides is designed to expose more of that context in machine-readable form.
Persistent public records help consumers distinguish what GoGuides observed from what a website claims about itself.
Web State V3 exposes compact measurements of supported content, structured-data, header, link, word-count, and AI-policy state.
Change Intelligence compares stored observations deterministically rather than asking a model to guess whether a page changed.
Evaluate can expose GoGuides' source-use decision context, supporting basis, limits, trust state, verification, and provenance.
A bounded model-assisted analysis can test one claim against one fixed current stored source observation and abstain when evidence is insufficient.
Two exact URLs can be compared using stored evidence and conservative relationship states without inferring ownership or intent.
Source-attributed text records can carry stable identifiers and SHA-256 integrity values so consumers can verify they are using the same recorded text.
Unknown, insufficient-history, insufficient-evidence, unaddressed, and unavailable states are legitimate outputs rather than prompts to invent certainty.
GoGuides v3 separates evidence classes instead of collapsing everything into one claim of “truth.” Observed facts remain distinguishable from deterministic comparisons, derived evidence, model-assisted judgments, and downstream decisions.
